For the first time, Mercedes-Benz has delivered over 1 million vehicles in the first half of a calendar year. From January to June, they have delivered 1,006,619 vehicles to customers around the world, which represents a 12.1% improvement over the same period in 2015.

The All Electric Tesla Autopilot is just like Cruise control with a little more precision, a far cry from a self-driving car. Several crashes happened with people on Autopilot due to their ignoring what Tesla said: you have to be fully awake and look on the road, the autopilot is not even connected to the GPS therefore it cannot follow routes. We are probably at least two years from a self driving car that doesn't crash.
